Al Gag's 12" Twitch-It Eels

Yes, as of the first quarter of 2026, 247 Lures (247 Fishing, LLC) has assumed full production and sales of the legendary Al Gag’s Whip-It Fish, Whip-It Eels, and proprietary jighead designs. We are continuing to work with the large network of retail stores and distributors that Al Gag has built, but these products are also available here on our website. 

Al Gag’s Twitch-It Eels are available in 7" and 12" sizes in a variety of colors. Designed to imitate eels, sand eels, and a variety of other baitfish, these soft plastics have a natural, slender profile and an easy swimming action that comes alive with a simple twitch of the rod.

They can be fished with a steady retrieve or worked with short twitches to trigger strikes from striped bass and other gamefish. For best results, we recommend rigging them with our Al Gag’s Eel Lock Hook or a weightless Texas-Rig style with a Mustad swimbait hook, depending on your preferred setup.

Each package of 12" Twitch-It Eels contains two (2) unrigged Twitch-It Eels. There is a separate listing for the 7" Twitch-It Eels which include three (3) per pack.
