Yes,as of the first quarter of 2026, 247 Lures (247 Fishing, LLC) has assumed full production and sales of the legendary Al Gag’s Whip-It Fish, Whip-It Eels, and proprietary jighead designs. We are continuing to work with the large network of retail stores and distributors that Al Gag has built, but these products are also available here on our website.
Al Gag's famous Whip-It Eels are available 4", 6", 8", and 10" sizes.This product listing is for a 8" Whip-It Eel pre-rigged with a Whip-It Head Jighead - each package will include one (1) Whip-It Eel rigged and ready to fish. Price may vary based on the jighead size selection.
The 8" Whip-It Eels will come with one (1) rigged 8" Eel to a pack. When purchasing Replacement Tails, the Whip-It Eels will come three (3) Eels per pack.
If you're looking for larger or smaller jigheads, they are each paired with the size Whip-It Eel that fits them best. For example, a 1/4oz jighead fits the 4" Eel nicely, but the 2oz jighead fits the 10" Eel best.
