Yes, as of the first quarter of 2026, 247 Lures (247 Fishing, LLC) has assumed full production and sales of the legendary Al Gag’s Whip-It Fish, Whip-It Eels, and proprietary jighead designs. We are continuing to work with the large network of retail stores and distributors that Al Gag has built, but these products are also available here on our website.
Al Gag's famous Whip-It Fish is available 3", 4", 5", and 6" sizes. This product listing is for Whip-It Fish replacement/spare tails - shipped Three (3) Whip-It Fish per pack.
If you're looking at 6" Whip-It Fish, it might appear as though quite a few colors are "out of stock". This is simply a side-effect of the fact that 3" and 4" Whip-It Fish have so many color options available at this time. Colors like "Mambo Olive", "New Penny", and "Mellow Yellow" will probably not be restocked in the larger sizes, but yet the buttons will appear just because of the way the website functions.
Unfortunately not all colorways are available in all four Whip-It Fish sizes. Several of the printed color patterns, such as Mackerel, Chicken Scratch, and Bunker are (at least for the time being) unavailable to us. We're actively looking for a new vendor to help us recreate these patterns, but at this time our previous supplier is unable to assist.
