As a general guideline, when replacing treble hooks with inline singles, we typically use inline singles two numerical sizes LARGER than the treble hook we’re replacing. So for example, if we’re removing a 3/0 treble hook, we would use a size 5/0 inline single. This can vary a little bit if you’re switching from one hook manufacturer to another, but this is often a good starting point.
