Here at 247 Lures, we try to walk the line between small, one-at-at-time lure making and large production lure manufacturing. This means that not only do we build, paint, and package “standard” color lures for ready-to-ship inventory, we also welcome custom color requests both big and small. Whether a tackle shop requests a custom color for several dozen lures, or one angler needs a few in a specific color combination for their surf bag, we do our very best to accommodate!

Our website inventory illustrates most of our “standard” color combinations. While you might only see the 247 Lure Mully available in a handful of colors on our website, painting the Mully (or any of our lures) in any of the other standard color combinations is a pretty simple request to fulfill. We’re also happy to mix-and-match these standard color combinations you see pictured below.

Just as examples, painting a Black back over a Pink belly, or an Olive back over a Yellow belly are pretty straightforward combinations. Same goes for something like a Purple head with a Yellow body, or a combination like White belly, Island Green sides, and thin Black back.

Once we get a batch of lures painted and clear-coated for your request, we’ll send you a few pictures of the result. If everyone is happy, we’ll get the lures rigged, packaged, and ready for shipping. Only when the lures are ready for shipping will we reach out with a final cost. We accept payment via Venmo or Paypal. Please do not send any payments, either full or partial, until we give you a final total and have the lures ready for shipping.

More complicated color combinations can still be accomplished, but we handle these on a much more one-by-one basis. Often getting an example lure in hand helps guide the color scheme, not to copy but just for inspiration purposes. It is exactly this type of process that often leads to new color schemes like our Squibby Eel, Mustard Yellow, Miami Vice, or Bluey patterns.
