This lip you see here is our “Pikie Small” (although some other builders might call this the ‘Pikie 1”). This Pikie Small measures 1” wide at it’s widest point. The bottom semi-circle measures 9/16” tall, with a flat face 7/8” tall. The wire slot is centered horizontally and is high on the face of the lip, measuring 0.14” down from the top bend.
These are all stamped and bent in large industrial machines to ensure consistency from one lip to the next. They are then polished for an extra smooth finish free of any trace of burrs or sharp edges. Made from slightly thicker stainless steel than the average plug lip, these measure 0.0266” thick, #304 Stainless Steel for a strong and durable final product.
So far we’ve been able to have twelve lip models fabricated with custom tooling/dies. More to come in the near future, but getting dies/tools made for every single possible model lip just wasn’t an option. If you have a specific model/size lip you’re looking for, please let us know. Getting the necessary dies made for a new model of lip is much more reasonable when we know there’s already a demand for that model.
To be clear and honest, these are NOT made in-house at our shop. But they are made FOR us, to our specifications, by a large metal fabrication shop.
Assuming we didn’t make a mistake on the math, all of our components are priced to be slightly cheaper per unit, the larger the quantity pack you purchase. If you’re looking for a larger quantity than what you see listed, please don’t be shy about emailing and inquiring.
