Purchasing this Sample Pack is a great way to see the quality of our lineup and see which lips fit your plugs the best. Or, design your plugs the other way around and start with the lips and build a lure body around the metal lip of your choice. This Metal Lip Sample Pack will include two lips each of: Danny Small (high slot), Danny Medium (high slot), Lefty Small (mid slot), Lefty Medium (mid slot), Pikie Small, Pikie Medium, Pikie Large, Pikie XL, Surfster Small, Surfster Medium, Surfster Large, and the A-40.
We’ve also got a handful of metal lip designs from another supplier, like the Goo-Goo, and a few hybrid models you’ll see available on our website. But this sample pack is solely the twelve models we’ve had stamped and manufactured exactly to our specifications.
These are all stamped and bent in large industrial machines to ensure consistency from one lip to the next. They are then polished for an extra smooth finish free of any trace of burrs or sharp edges. Made from slightly thicker stainless steel than the average plug lip, these measure 0.0266” thick, #304 Stainless Steel for a strong and durable final product.
To be clear and honest, these are NOT made in-house at our shop. But they are made FOR us, to our specifications, by a large metal fabrication shop.
